Usually, regular cleaning during your stay is not included in the rent, unless clearly stated in your contract (for example, “cleaning once per month included”).

In most cases:

you clean the property yourself, or if you wish, you can arrange and pay for an additional cleaning service at your own cost.

If periodic cleaning is included (for example weekly or monthly cleaning), the contract or offer should clearly mention it. You must still keep the property reasonably tidy between those visits and allow the cleaning crew to enter the property and clean it without obstruction.
