Documents/Tenancy Agreement
Can we change the names on the Tenancy Agreement during the stay (for example, replacement tenant)?

Sometimes yes, but only with approval and new paperwork.

Changing names on the contract usually means:

  • the landlord must agree to accept the new tenant,

  • a new contract or an annex must be signed,

  • HomeInZagreb needs updated data for records and compliance.

There may also be administrative consequences, such as:

  • a possible new service fee for processing a new booking,

  • recalculation of deposit arrangements.

You should never assume that someone can simply “take over your room” without formal approval and signing of the correct documents.
