Changing dates after you have paid is much more complex and may be treated as:

a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking, depending on how big the change is and what the landlord accepts.
Because the cancellation policy is strict, date changes after payment may have financial consequences, especially if they reduce the length of stay or move the start date.
