Tenants/Stay
Can HomeInZagreb or the landlord help me with registration of stay?

HomeInZagreb and the landlord can:

  • provide the necessary housing documents (for example, tenancy agreement or confirmation of accommodation),

  • inform you in general terms that registration of stay is required under Croatian law.

However, the legal responsibility to:

  • understand the rules,

  • follow the correct procedure, and

  • respect deadlines,

belongs to you, the tenant.

You must check official sources (police, Ministry of Interior, embassy, university) and complete all steps yourself. HomeInZagreb and the landlord cannot be responsible for your immigration or legal status.
